July Card Kit 3
Maggie loves to go on picnics in the summer. Right now she's waiting for the corn to ripen so they can have a corn roast, her favorite summer food. Hope your summer is going well. Thanks for visiting.
Again, the DP is from DCWV Fun in the Sun collection from last summer. Love to use products from my stash!
July Card Kit 2
July Card Kit 1
Tilda is journalling about her vacation in this card designed for the Magnolia July Card kit swap. She's had a great time and hopes all of you are enjoying your summer as well. The paper, rafia and buttons are from my stash (I'm trying to use my stash this summer rather than buy new. So far I'm doing pretty well.) The kits go in the mail today. Thanks for visiting. Shirley

April Card Kit 2
Strawberry season is just coming on in central Illinois. What better way to celebrate than with a Strawberry Tilda. Tilda is gardening and wearing her gardening mitts that match her garden clogs.
This is from a card kit I received in the April Card Kit Swap by Danka Kareen Shank from Canada. Thanks, Chris for doing this card swap for us. It's fun. Because I had extra images (you get 3) I was able to make a couple of bookmarks out of just the green strip with Tilda. The fan punch is a versatile border punch that I really like.
May Mingle
My May Mingle, with a flower theme, evolved. I got the image in my April Mingle card and thought it would look well with the new flowers I got. Then my sister said the flowers needed a trellis. I found a sheet of "paper doily" in my stash and used a strip of it for the trellis supports. Then it needed grass to anchor everything. I used the multiblade scissors to cut the grass and then trimmed each blade with my finest scissors. The leaves are a punch I have had forever.
April Card Kit 1
This card is one I made with one of the card kits I got in the April card kit swap. I knew when I saw the kit with the curved bloom that I wanted to use a backing with the same curve. So, I bought the nestabilities that matched. I'm pleased at how it turned out and have supplies left to make at least one more card. I used pink ribbon to border strips of the contrast paper under the mounted Tilda.
This card is going to a new Maggie friend in England who will also get some extra images to help feed her habit until she can get her own stamps. Sharing, that's what it's all about.

May Card Kit
For my May Card Kit entry, I made a sample to include. I had lots of fun getting the pieces to work together.
I'm also including a pix of the card kit to encourage others to participate. I know when I began, I didn't know what I really needed to do. In my embellishment baggie, I included 7 punches, a flower, a gaucho and the ribbon. I include two verses, the 3 images and some extra paper so there are other possibilities. I hope this helps others.
April Mingle
I haven't blogged lately, but have a couple to add today. the first is my April Mingle which should have arrived in Canada already, If not, Deanna Bohnet, it's on its way.
For me, Spring is enchantment. Going out to discover the new growth, budding trees, sprouting plants and early blooms. Hilda has wrapped an early bloom around her walking stick as she strolls through an enchanting adventure.
The paper was from an 8X8 Flavia pad I had in my stash.

Small World of Mingles
I heard today from my March Mingle partner thanking me for the card I sent. She mentioned it to her daughter Kellee, who thought it sounded familiar. I mean, Kellee and I scrap at the LSS in Peoria, IL. She's the one who introduced me to Maggies and showed me how she stored her copics. Her mom lives in Iowa. Who would have thunk?
